Im new at agressive inline and everytime I go to frontside grind i hit my h blocks perfect but then my feet fly out from under me and I fall backwards onto my butt. I think my feet are too close together but i think maybe theres something else wrong. I can skate good and also do stalls decently. Also should you be able to curb grind before rails. and at which point could you do grinds in your inline career.
Also im grinding on a pvc pipe
How do you frontside grind a rail on inline agressive skates.?
carefully
Reply:PVC pipe tends to be very slick, so even if you haven%26#039;t applied any wax to the pipe, it will slide very fast. Try approaching the rail at a slow speed, then jumping on frontside. Your feet should be at least shoulder width apart (possibly even further apart since the rail is fast). Bend your knees slightly and do your best to balance on the rail. Once you are comfortable with a slow approach, you can start to speed up a little.
I might also suggest that you try a different grind like a soul or mizou. These two grinds will give you more stability since you%26#039;re grinding on a larger surface.
Best of luck in your skating and keep it up.
