What body parts are being used when inline skating?

It depends on how you skate, and/or your style. Of course, you will use your calves, quads, hamstrings, and your glutes, for the basic skating moves, but if you lean forward to go faster (tuck position), you will also use your core muscles (abs %26amp; back), as well. Look at professional speed skaters; their lower body is usually very well-developed. This info is from my experience of inline skating for 11 years, but you can also check out the links I've included for some interesting reading.

for me it would be my *** sliding and bouncing down the sidewalk.
Reply:Almost all of them. Tour using all your leg muscles to constanlty push to make yourself go faster. You use your arms to chest muscles to swing your arms creating momentum. I dont know if you use your abs/back or not but not alot of muscles are left unused. It is a very physically demanding sport.
