What is a good name for an inline skate/ski company?

One that hasn't been done.

What is a good name for an inline skate/ski company?
It depends if you want to be a manufacturer or vendor.

Manufacturing names are more open. K2, Salomon, Roces, Bauer, AmWing, Hyper, Labeda, none of those would give you a hint about their business.

As a vendor, your name would work well, Skye Skates or Skye's Skates have a good ring to them and they work with Ski also. The alliteration locks the name into people's minds.

RollerBob (www.rollerbob.com) is a friend of mine and almost no one just calls him Bob and very few would be able to tell you his last name.

Thinking about it more, Skye would work as a manufacturer also. Distinctive and easy. Those are the reasons that George Eastman invented the word Kodak. It has no meaning but became to mean photography to most people.
