CHICAGO: Which is better along the lake front, inline skating or riding a bike?

I live 2 blocks from Lake Michigan in Chicago and want to coast along with the rest of the yuppies along the lake front. Should I buy a bike or inline skates? (Jogging is boring.)

Hello, I would definitely say a bicycle, the skates are fun, but duirng the prime summer months there are alot of people to weave in and out of, I lived up off of Wilson and used to rollerblade/bike down to Navy Pier all the time..


the blades were fun but i was pushed around alot more when i was on my blades, which was no fun..
Reply:A bike is better because you can easily travel from far North to the South Side on the lake front. Good work out with several miles of scenic lake front view.
Reply:If it were me I would buy a bike. (I have to left feet when Im on skates).
