My hockey skates bite into the side of my legs and it hurts!?

I just started playing inline hockey and i love it except for one thing. My inline skates seem to cut into the side of my legs and end up causing huge blisters that hurt like hell. Are they supposed to hurt this bad and is there any way to stop it from rubbing against me and hurting me? The skates fit perfectly so dont' say anything about the size. Thanks !

tighten them up or wear higher socks. Skates have to be tight tight tight..
Reply:The top of the skates? Like the top of the boot you mean? If the top of the boot is cutting into the side of your leg, then you should tighten your laces.
Reply:Oh my God. I know exactly what you mean. I went through three pairs of inline skates before I gave up and bought these: http://www.oihl.com/ChassisLarge.gif

They're not AMAZING wheels or anything, but it's really convenient. I can use my Grafs outside. And no more chafing of my ankles. THANK YOU GOD. So if you have a pair of ICE hockey skates that you are comfortable in, try these out. It's really easy to convert them to inline skates.

They're not the model that I have, but I can't seem to find mine anywhere online.

Funny thing is, I never really noticed how much I would hurt my ankles while playing until the day after. You really don't realize it when you're into the game, and it just makes it worse. I tried the socks thing a few times, but apparently my skates were made in Hell. Seriously, I might as well have been playing with knives in my skates. My friend had the same inline skates though, and he never had the same problem as me! At all! Ever! Pffffffffft. So I guess you should just try and see what works best for you.
Reply:swith to figure skates there easier to move in, dont forget about the glitter and tassels.
Reply:Ya high socks should do it. If not wear multiple high socks and lace up your skates over them.
Reply:i don't think you have the right size.. either theyre way too small or they need to be tightened
