Reply:OMG! I just bought Skorpion skates! I use my favorite sneakers and they adjust around them. It took a few minutes to get use to them, but they are amazing because they just seem to glide over cracks and bumps in the pavement. I never liked inlines - but the wheels on these skates I think are inline wheels! They are really so cool - and the best part is that I can share them with my sister because they adjust to fit her big feet! Anyway, I went to www.skorpion.com and ordered them from Dick's. Check it out!
Reply:You can buy roller skates from

Good luck!
Reply:Roller rinks sell them, and there are a few skate shops that do. I'd suggest buying them in a store since different skates size differently and most skates are in men's sizes. I'm on a roller derby team and I wear a women's size 9. I have two pairs of skates, same brand but different boot and one is a men's size 8 and the other is a men's size 6.5!
I'd recommend either Riedell brand or Sure Grip, both websites will tell you where you can buy their skates. Make sure you get wheels to match where you'll be skating- outdoor wheels are softer than indoor.
Reply:If you buy online, make sure you find someone with a good exchange policy. I highly recommend:

They sell unisex skates for all purposes: recreation, agressive skating, derby, etc., and they have an amazing sizing guarantee and their customer service is really fantastic. They personally test out all of their products and they don't sell anything they don't think is good quality.
