Meet inline speed skating, a sport that's booming in many parts of the world but that's still in its infancy here. In essence, it's short track speed skating on wheels. The black and red clad skaters are members of CRISC, the Calgary Rollercade Inline Speed Club.
"The U.S., Columbia and Italy are clearly the three world powers now. But if you want to train seriously, there's certainly lots of possibilities down the road. Rollersports are one of the five new sports they are considering for inclusion in the 2012 Olympics."

Do you think Inline Speek Skating should become an Olympic Sport?
no i think they have too many boring events already
Reply:Based on athleticism then yes.
Its just finding the numbers, is it a sport internationally recognised on five continents and enjoyed and participated athletes in over 100 countries. Then the International Olympic Committee have to vote and change the laws alowing them to officially give inline skating the chance to make it on the International Olympic stage.
