Has anyone heard of skorpian skates?

just wanted to know if someone has tried out these skates and if so, what you think? they look like fun better than inline skates...

Has anyone heard of skorpian skates?
I haven't tried them but would like to. I have no illusion that they will be at all practical but like weird versions of skates. I have a pair of the old steel wheeled (quad before it was a type) roller skates.

The wheelbase is really short which is one of the big drawbacks of quad skates when on less than perfect surfaces. The longer wheelbase of inlines makes them more stable at speed or on rough surfaces.

There is a reason why quads are not used in any skate racing anymore. The first year that inlines were allowed, the quads became instantly obsolete. Your stride can be more efficient with the ability to use the edges of the wheels that the inline layout allows.

The area where quads have been comming back is in rinks and for dance / slalom moves.

For those options, I would go with the smaller, more compact width and lower profile of traditional quads.
